Elevate cleanliness at Purdys Chocolatier in Vancouver, BC, as a Janitor on a six-month contract. Help maintain a safe and efficient chocolate factory environment while ensuring quality standards.
In this full-time role, you will play a critical part in sustaining cleanliness and supporting quality control, with potential for a permanent position based on your performance. Embrace teamwork in a collaborative setting while ensuring compliance with GMP and food safety procedures. Enjoy contributing to the safety and efficiency of our chocolate production facility.
Key Responsibilities:
• Follow all GMP, SQF, and food safety policies
• Clean production and common areas across the facility
• Remove garbage and recycling daily
• Complete preventative maintenance tasks accurately
• Support workplace safety initiatives and report hazards
Requirements:
• Available Monday to Friday, 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM
• Effective communication skills in English
• Strong organizational and attention to detail
• Physically capable for janitorial duties
• OFA Level 2 or 3 certification considered an asset
