Position: Custodian Role
Step into the Custodian role at Rain City Housing, focusing on janitorial and maintenance tasks for facilities in the Vancouver Region. Contribute to a clean environment that supports new tenants.

This casual hourly position allows you to leverage your skills in performing maintenance, cleaning, and assisting program staff as needed. Candidates must have a Grade 12 education, a First Aid certificate, and recent experience in a similar role. Effective communication and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team are essential for success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct basic cleaning and repair tasks efficiently

• Address plumbing issues by unclogging toilets and sinks

• Maintain cleanliness of external building areas

• Prepare areas for new tenants with program staff

• Monitor building security through regular patrols

Requirements:

• Grade 12 education and minimum 1 year relevant experience

• Building Service Worker Certificate required

• Must hold a valid First Aid certificate

• Clear Vulnerable Sector Criminal Record Check needed

• Ability to collaborate and resolve conflicts effectively
