SAAM Towage Canada offers a Facilities Officer position in Vancouver focused on managing shore-side facilities and equipment. This full-time role involves planning and overseeing maintenance operations across multiple sites.
The Facilities Officer will report to the Director of Technical Operations, managing schedules, vendors, and compliance activities.
Your role will require maintaining facility records and implementing preventive maintenance programs for optimal performance. With your experience in facility management, you'll ensure effective operations while controlling costs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and execute maintenance programs for facilities
• Manage contractors and vendor performance
• Maintain accurate facility compliance records
• Support facility upgrade projects
• Coordinate hands-on repairs and maintenance tasks
Requirements:
• Certification in Facilities Management or related technical field
• Over 5 years of facility maintenance experience
• 2-4 years in marine infrastructure support
• Proficiency in Health and Safety regulations
• Must be eligible to work in Canada
