Powell Place Cleaning Specialist

Support Powell Place through detailed floor, wall, window, and ceiling cleaning as a Housekeeper. The regular part-time schedule includes Friday and Saturday mornings.

Located in Women & Children’s Services, this Housekeeper performs varied cleaning duties in assigned commission buildings. The position requires related residential support experience, industrial cleaning product knowledge, and independent work organization. Compassion and sensitivity are essential when working with people facing complex life circumstances.

• Complete varied housekeeping duties in assigned commission buildings
• Scrub, wax, and polish floors using related equipment
• Wash building walls, windows, and ceilings
• Work independently while organizing assigned responsibilities
• Provide and receive constructive feedback appropriately

• One-year recent housekeeping experience in residential support required
• High school diploma or Grade 12 equivalent required
• Building Service Worker Certificate required
• Food Safe and WHMIS training required
• Effective English communication and advanced interpersonal skills required
