Position:
D&H Group LLP is seeking an experienced Assurance Manager to join our growing team of professionals. This role is ideal for a CPA with strong assurance and client management experience who thrives in a collaborative environment and is looking to take the next step in their career with a mid-sized public accounting firm.
As an Assurance Manager, you will lead engagement teams and manage a diverse client portfolio. You will work closely with partners to deliver high-quality assurance and advisory services while mentoring and developing junior team members.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage assurance engagements, including audit and review engagementsReview financial statements and related disclosures to ensure compliance with ASPE, ASNPO and IFRSOversee and review tax filing requirements and considerations that impact the results of the audit and review engagementsManage multiple client relationships and act as a trusted advisor to clients by understanding their business needsOversee the work of staff and senior accountants, providing guidance, coaching, and formal performance feedbackEnsure engagement deliverables are completed on time and in accordance with firm and professional standardsParticipate in the development of firm policies and internal processes to improve service delivery and efficiencyLead technical training sessions and contribute to the professional development of team membersCandidate Requirements:
CPA designation in good standingMinimum 4 years of experience with a focus on assurance servicesProven leadership experience in managing audit/review teams and engagementsStrong technical knowledge of ASPE and IFRSWorking knowledge of Canadian income tax compliance for corporations and individualsProficiency in assurance and tax software, including Case Ware, Taxprep, Quick Books, and Microsoft Office SuiteStrong written and verbal communication skillsExcellent organizational and time management skillsBenefits:
