Regional Director - Sales & Distribution; BC

Overview

We are looking for a Regional Director - Sales & Distribution to join our team. This role requires regular travel throughout British Columbia, with the majority of time spent in the Greater Vancouver and Fraser Valley area.

• Accountable for managing, developing and expanding the partnerships with our current commercial brokerage partners.
• Develop new relationships in an effort to grow business and help us expand our distribution in BC.
• Develop and achieve specific company objectives and goals.
• Continually improve on a thorough understanding of the insurance market and stay up to date on industry trends and competitive intelligence.
• Report to Managing Director, and work closely with other team members.
• Promote and model our culture, values and brand promise – must love fuchsia!
• Other duties as required.
• Compensation to be determined, commensurate with experience.

• Minimum 5 years of experience working in the Commercial Lines Insurance Industry.
• Good organizational and planning skills, including great time management.
• Confident in conducting round table meetings with effective presentation skills.
• Focused and goal-oriented.
• Strong professional communication, both written and verbal.
• Strong computer skills including high proficiency with MS Office.

Preference given to applicants with Insurance Industry experience and/or education (CAIB, CIP or other relevant designations).
