This position reports to Supervisor of Shipping, Receiving & Material handling and will work in Vancouver, BC.
Vancouver:
Dometic Marine’s headquarters are in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. The facility develops and manufactures hydraulic, electronic, and combustion-based products. In this role, you will supply stock to conveyance locations and move finished goods to appropriate warehouse stock locations, perform cycle counts when necessary to verify inventory accuracy, and complete inventory transactions in MAX MRP system.
- Transfer raw materials and components from approved stock to applicable warehouse or conveyance location using forklifts and/or cranes, and perform MAX inventory transactions.
- Execute the appropriate MAX transaction for receipt of goods, issuing of materials, and transfer of goods requested via material movements CF23 or stock transfers CF21 forms (completed by the requester).
- Move non‑conforming materials to and from the MRB cage and perform the appropriate MAX transaction as per the MRR disposition and verification.
- Work with production and quality departments to collect and segregate non‑conforming materials from the cell to prevent contamination.
- Deliver components and raw materials to specific cells, ensuring no stock‑outs and maintaining a first‑in, first‑out process.
- Communicate with other Material Handlers when common parts in an applicable cell inventory are low and transfer from one location to another.
- Transfer goods from supplier boxes into bins or containers for conveyance or to compress space requirements.
- Communicate with Tactical Buying or Sourcing Agent and verify the count before materials are returned to the supplier as part of the MRR:
Vendor Return process. - Perform inventory cycle counts and transactions when requested.
- Resolve inventory discrepancies between physical counts and MAX stock.

Qualifications:
- Grade 12 Diploma
Skills, competencies & characteristics:
- Trained to operate forklifts and cranes with proven machine operation proficiency.
- Demonstrated ability to use MAX – MRP system: make transactions, review history, and resolve discrepancies.
- Proficient in organizing and prioritizing work.
- Strong communication skills in English both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Computer skills, including experience with MS Word and Excel.
- Familiarity with production and inventory systems.
- Basic working knowledge of Material Handling – 1 year experience.
- Adhere to Part Shortage Procedure.
- Ensure conveyance stock locations are maintained.
- Process Material Review Reports (MRR) within 48 hours.

Salary Range: $19.67 - $28.54
