Plant ManagerThe Plant Manager oversees daily operations of a manufacturing production facility to ensure safety, efficiency, quality, and profitability. This role is responsible for managing staff, optimizing production processes, controlling costs, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Based in the Vancouver area on-site.
Responsibilities:Lead and supervise plant operations, production, maintenance, and quality teamsEnsure production targets, quality standards, and delivery deadlines are metDevelop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costsMonitor KPIs and prepare performance reportsEnforce safety policies and ensure compliance with regulationsManage budgets, inventory, and resource allocationCoordinate maintenance programs to minimize downtimeDrive continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.)Recruit, train, and develop plant personnelRequirements:Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business, or related field5+ years of experience in industrial manufacturing or industrial operations, with leadership experienceStrong knowledge of production processes, safety regulations, and quality systemsExcellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skillsProficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft OfficeSalary in the range.
