Skilled Meat Cutter​/Band Saw Operator

Express Employment Professionals, Delta/ Richmond office, is currently hiring 10 persons
- unskilled to skilled
Meat Cutters and/ or Band Saw Operators for a busy production facility in Richmond, BC.
This is a great opportunity for candidates with or without previous meat cutting and band saw experience, as well as individuals looking to enter the industry and learn.

Pay Rate:

• Experienced Band Saw Operators: $22.00 – $26.00/hr
• Non-Experienced / Entry Level Candidates: $18.25 – $20.00/hr

Job Duties:

• Operate band saw equipment safely and efficiently
• Cut and portion meat products according to specifications
• Handle, trim, and package meat products
• Maintain cleanliness and follow food safety procedures
• Work in a fast-paced refrigerated environment
• Follow workplace safety standards and company policies

Requirements:

• Previous meat cutting or band saw experience will be an asset but those without and willing are also welcome.
• Comfortable working with raw meat products
• Those operating Bandsaw will need to lift up to 50 lbs
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a team environment
• Steel-toe boots required
