What You’ll Be Doing

Completion of HACCP paperwork – Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly; verify that it is completed and turned in

Completes daily sanitation, facility, and quality check documents

In the event of a product non-conformance, responsibilities include:
Identify affected inventory in production to ensure it is physically located and accounted for, quarantine affected product, and inform production team and keep them updated as necessary

Verifies HACCP forms and checks for accuracy and completeness

Works with managers to make claims on damaged or nonconforming product received at the facility

Meets with team leaders during shift to determine needs; to answer questions regarding production or quality troubleshooting

Routine swabbing and good sampling practices to send to 3rd party laboratory

Perform monthly internal audits with Operations manager to ensure all Food Safety procedures are being completed correctly

Lot tracking and cooler/freezer organization

What We Are Looking For

High school diploma or equivalent

Ability to work weekends (schedule is Tuesday - Saturday: 8 am to 4 pm)

Certification, such as Quality Engineer, Quality Auditor, or Quality Improvement Associate, is preferred

Relevant long-term experience, knowledge of regulatory requirements

Knack for implementation of corrective action programs

Experience in the related industry or with related products

Computer competence, including experience with databases and QA tools and methodologies.

Must be able to withstand temperatures ranging from under 4 degrees Celsius to ambient room temperature and to stand for prolonged periods of time (6+ hours)

What You Can Expect

$52,000 - $55,000 annual salary
