Overview We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Screen Printer to join our client’s production team. This role is responsible for executing high-quality screen-printing projects from start to finish while maintaining efficiency, consistency, and production deadlines. The ideal candidate has experience operating automatic screen-printing equipment, a strong understanding of screen-printing processes, and a commitment to producing exceptional work for customers.
As a key member of the production team, you will be involved in all aspects of the screen-printing workflow, including film output, screen preparation, ink mixing, press operation, quality control, equipment maintenance, and continuous process improvement. Our client provides a competitive hourly rate (negotiable, depending on experience) with the opportunity to work flexible schedule.
Responsibilities Produce high-quality printed garments and products while maintaining production standards.
Participate in all stages of the production process, including setup, operation, teardown, and quality control.
Prepare and mix materials accurately to meet customer specifications and quality requirements.
Troubleshoot production and quality issues, making adjustments as needed to maintain consistency.
Perform routine equipment maintenance and support preventative maintenance initiatives.
Identify and recommend improvements to workflows, systems, equipment, and operating procedures to enhance efficiency and quality.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
Collaborate with team members to ensure production goals and customer deadlines are achieved.
Continuously learn and apply new techniques, technologies, and industry best practices.
Qualifications Minimum 5+ years of experience operating automatic production printing equipment in the apparel printing industry.
Experience operating automatic press machines such as ROQ or M&R.
Knowledge of manual printing processes is considered an asset.
Experience with production setup, preparation, and workflow processes.
Experience mixing materials or willingness to learn.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot production equipment and processes.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Honest, accountable, and willing to take ownership of challenges and solutions.
Reliable, punctual, and highly organized.
Strong work ethic with a customer-focused mindset and dedication to meeting deadlines.
Pay: $66,000.00-$73,000.00 per year
