Production Baker - Bread Making ; Marpole

Overview

BREKA BAKERY Group is seeking an EXPERIENCED PRODUCTION BAKER for the BREAD production team. This small team makes European style breads as well as yeast donut dough for BREKA stores and wholesale customers. At least 1 year of bread making experience in a commercial setting is required.

2:30pm to 10:30pm, end time may vary depending on production volume. 3-5 days/week.

Start Date:

ASAP

• Mix dough following our recipe and production list
• Divide, roll and shape dough
• Manage proofing dough
• Organize bread baskets and trays
• Handle rack ovens
• Other prep duties & general cleaning

• Has 1+ year experience worked as a Bread making qualified
• Follow our procedures/recipes to meet our product standard
• Excellent communication skills to work as part of a small team
• Physically fit and able to lift 20kg
• Positive attitude & high energy to work effectively
• Punctual & reliable to show up all scheduled shifts
• Attentive to detail and understands the importance of a clean, organized kitchen

• The wage range is $20.50-$27.50/hour
• 4 month probation period
• Wage review based on your performance
