Safety Coordinator at CHEP

As a vital member of the management team, the Safety Coordinator monitors work activities and empowers colleagues to embrace a culture of safety. You'll spearhead investigations into hazards and near misses, ensuring compliance with safety guidelines and policies. Development and training will be key, as you help colleagues maintain the highest HSE standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor plant personnel adherence to safety guidelines

• Conduct investigations on hazards and near misses

• Facilitate training on HSE standards for employees

• Ensure safety documentation is accurate and compliant

• Execute safety audits and initiatives focusing on Icare reporting

Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent

• Experience in a manufacturing safety role

• Strong problem-solving and strategic thinking abilities

• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point

• Ability to manage safety processes effectively
