Become a valued part of our furniture manufacturing team as a Skilled Wood Furniture Maker. Focus on creating and finishing custom pieces in a busy on-site environment.
In this role, you will leverage your woodworking experience of 7 months to less than 1 year to prepare, assemble, and finish furniture pieces. You should have a secondary school graduation certificate, be capable of handling physically demanding tasks, and excel in a noisy, dusty work setting. Adaptability and attention to detail are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
• Finish wood surfaces to desired specifications
• Set up and operate machinery for furniture production
• Sand and prepare wooden fixture parts
• Assemble parts into finished products
• Conduct repairs and mark defective items
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 7 months to 1 year of practical experience
• Must be comfortable with heavy lifting
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Familiarity with various power tools is advantageous
