We are seeking a skilled Journeyperson Machinist to join TRIUMF's state-of-the-art Machine Shop team. This role involves fabricating and repairing equipment for cutting-edge scientific experiments, ensuring adherence to high-quality standards through rigorous inspections. You'll utilize MasterCAM and FUSION 360 software to program CNC machines, facilitating an iterative creative process with design and engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and program CNC machines accurately

• Ensure precision through inspection of finished components

• Develop innovative machining solutions

• Collaborate with engineers on specifications and improvements

• Follow safety and quality control protocols

Requirements:

• Must have BCTQ Machinist Red Seal certification

• At least four years of machinist experience required

• Proficient with MasterCAM;
Solid Works knowledge is beneficial

• Strong abilities in reading technical drawings

• Commitment to a safe working environment
