Required is an individual with 7-10 years of comprehensive health and safety experience, dedicated to fostering a secure work environment. You will support maintenance and production teams with safety audits, hazard assessments, and compliance management, driving a culture of safety.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct safety orientations and communicate risk factors
• Liaise with Work Safe for regulatory compliance
• Carry out hazard identifications and risk assessments on-site
• Update safety literature and maintain compliance documents
• Manage the disability process, including investigations and return to work
Requirements:
• 7-10 years of experience in health and safety roles
• Completion of an OHS post-secondary program
• Industry experience in heavy industrial sectors
• Strong command of MS Word and Excel
• Certified Registered Safety Professional certification
