Chocolate Production Worker

Purdys is offering a full-time, six-month contract for Chocolate Production Workers at their Chester Street and Kingsway facilities. Essential duties include coating, sorting, and packaging chocolate products, while consistently meeting production targets. You will also ensure the cleanliness of work areas and maintain quality control to uphold product standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coat and garnish cream centers and caramels

• Sort, pick, and package chocolate into boxes

• Meet daily production targets consistently

• Maintain equipment and work station cleanliness

• Examine products for quality and record results

Requirements:

• Availability for 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday

• Strong spoken and written English communication skills

• Attention to detail with the ability to work in a team

• CSA Certified safety shoes required

• Experience in food manufacturing machinery is an asset
