Day Shift SMT Equipment Operator

In the PFC Flexible Circuits division of OSI Electronics, we are looking for an SMT Operator. You will set up and operate a range of SMT equipment, including solder paste inspection processes and pick-and-place machines. The role demands a keen eye for detail and the ability to manage quality checks throughout the assembly process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate SMT stencil printers effectively

• Load and validate SMT components as required

• Conduct AOI and X-Ray inspections for quality assurance

• Resolve SMT line stoppages and escalate issues

• Maintain the cleanliness and operational readiness of machinery

Requirements:

• High school diploma preferred

• Experience with SMT operations and quality inspection

• Attention to detail and defect troubleshooting skills

• Manual dexterity for handling delicate components

• Must communicate effectively in English
