Location: Vancouver, BC — Onsite

Salary: $60,000–$80,000 CAD

Join a growing Vancouver-based technology company developing IoT-enabled reusable-container solutions that help food service organizations reduce disposable packaging. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands‑on technician who enjoys building hardware, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring products are ready for customers.

As a Production Technician
, you will support the complete hardware build-to-ship lifecycle
, assembling, testing, inspecting, documenting, and preparing IoT devices such as smart return bins, checkout devices, and scanning stations.

Responsibilities
  • Assemble, configure, test, inspect, and prepare IoT hardware for shipment.
  • Follow detailed assembly instructions, production procedures, and quality standards.
  • Conduct functional, performance, and reliability testing.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, assembly, and product‑quality issues.
  • Document test results, defects, repairs, and production activities.
  • Maintain accurate procurement, inventory, assembly, and quality records.
  • Keep the hardware lab organized, safe, and production-ready.
  • Identify and communicate supply‑chain, inventory, quality, or production concerns.
  • Independently resolve routine and non‑standard problems while escalating issues when appropriate.
Qualifications
  • Hands‑on experience in hardware production, manufacturing, electronics assembly, or a related technical environment.
  • Experience supporting products through assembly, testing, quality verification, and shipment.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and a quality‑focused mindset.
  • Excellent attention to detail, documentation, and record‑keeping abilities.
  • Comfortable working independently in a fast‑moving production environment.
  • Ability to work onsite in Vancouver, BC.
