As a Production Technician
, you will support the complete hardware build-to-ship lifecycle
, assembling, testing, inspecting, documenting, and preparing IoT devices such as smart return bins, checkout devices, and scanning stations.
- Assemble, configure, test, inspect, and prepare IoT hardware for shipment.
- Follow detailed assembly instructions, production procedures, and quality standards.
- Conduct functional, performance, and reliability testing.
- Troubleshoot hardware, assembly, and product‑quality issues.
- Document test results, defects, repairs, and production activities.
- Maintain accurate procurement, inventory, assembly, and quality records.
- Keep the hardware lab organized, safe, and production-ready.
- Identify and communicate supply‑chain, inventory, quality, or production concerns.
- Independently resolve routine and non‑standard problems while escalating issues when appropriate.
- Hands‑on experience in hardware production, manufacturing, electronics assembly, or a related technical environment.
- Experience supporting products through assembly, testing, quality verification, and shipment.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and a quality‑focused mindset.
- Excellent attention to detail, documentation, and record‑keeping abilities.
- Comfortable working independently in a fast‑moving production environment.
- Ability to work onsite in Vancouver, BC.
