Use power tools and finish wood furniture as a Touch-up Person working on site at a physical location. Apply careful repairs and quality checks daily.
This Touch-up Person role focuses on furniture and fixture finishing, inspection, and minor repairs. You will apply lacquer or other sealers, install hardware, and record inspected product information. The work requires English communication and experience with finished products.
Key Responsibilities:- Make minor adjustments and repairs to wood furniture
- Apply lacquer or other sealers to finished products
- Install hardware on furniture and fixtures
- Inspect subassemblies and finished products for quality conformance
- Mark defective products for repair and record information
- Other trades certificate or diploma
- One year to less than two years experience
- Experience working with finished products
- Power tools experience and manual dexterity
- Ability to distinguish colours and handle up to 23 kilograms
