How You’ll Help Us Better Serve Our Clients

Clark Wilson LLP is seeking a Communication and Marketing Specialist for a six-to-ten-month contract with the opportunity for extension. The Marketing and Communications Specialist is a key member of our Client Relations/Marketing team. This role involves a mix of event planning and execution, marketing support, and performing administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator with excellent project management skills and a keen eye for detail.

What

You’ll Be Doing Communications
  • Request for Proposals (RFPs):
    Develop and write comprehensive and persuasive RFPs to secure new business opportunities.
  • Attorney Bios:
    Create detailed and engaging biographies for our attorneys, highlighting their qualifications, experience, and achievements.
  • Brochures and Marketing Materials:
    Design and write informative and visually appealing brochures and other marketing materials to promote our services.
  • Event Materials:
    Prepare written content for various events, including invitations, programs, and promotional materials.
  • Client Communications:
    Draft clear and professional client communications, including newsletters, updates, and announcements.
  • Website Content:
    Maintain and update website content to ensure it is current, accurate, and reflective of our firm’s brand.
  • Legal Articles and Blogs:
    Write insightful and informative articles and blog posts on relevant legal topics to enhance our firm’s online presence.
  • Press Releases:
    Compose press releases to announce significant firm news, achievements, and events.
Event Management
  • Event Planning:
    Plan, manage, and execute a variety of internal and external events, including seminars, webinars, client receptions, and internal activities.
  • Event Logistics:
    Manage all event logistics, including venue selection, catering, registration, and on-site coordination.
  • Budgeting:
    Track event budgets and ensure cost-effectiveness.
  • Time Management:
    Develop and maintain event planning timelines and checklists.
Administrative Tasks
  • Administration:
    Handle administrative tasks such as processing invoices, managing expenses, and maintaining records.
  • Coordination:
    Manage sponsorship logistics, including coordinating with internal clients and external organizations.
  • Maintenance:
    Update and maintain marketing databases and mailing lists.
  • Support:
    Provide support for other marketing initiatives as needed.
How You’ll Be a Great Fit For This Role
  • 4+ years of experience in corporate writing
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM systems, email and content management platforms, and social media tools.
  • Excellent organizational, project management, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail.
