About the Role

We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Marketing Assistant to support our event operations and promotional activities. You will help plan and deliver events, activations, workshops, demonstrations, and community experiences for both Genomii and Mirror Mii.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, managing details, and solving problems in a fast-moving environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the planning and execution of events, workshops, demonstrations, launches, and community activations.
• Coordinate venues, vendors, schedules, catering, equipment, signage, and promotional materials.
• Maintain event timelines, checklists, guest lists, budgets, and operational documents.
• Assist with invitations, registrations, attendee communications, and post-event follow-ups.
• Support on-site setup, guest check-in, speaker or partner coordination, troubleshooting, and teardown.
• Represent Genomii and Mirror Mii professionally when interacting with guests, partners, vendors, and community members.
• Help promote events through social media, email, partnerships, and community outreach.
• Capture photos, videos, attendee feedback, leads, and other event information.
• Prepare post-event summaries and recommend improvements.
• Support additional marketing and administrative projects when required.

• Comfortable using Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, or similar tools.
• Available for occasional evening or weekend events.
• Experience in events, hospitality, marketing, customer service, or community engagement is an asset.
• Interest in technology, creativity, wellness, community building, or innovative experiences is a plus.
