This full-time role focuses on executing communication strategies to elevate CCS’s advocacy work. You will create engaging content, manage media relations, and ensure that advocacy narratives resonate with multiple stakeholders. Candidates should have a strong background in media and public relations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and implement advocacy communications strategies
• Create and distribute engaging materials like fact sheets and news releases
• Collaborate with advocacy partners on communication opportunities
• Craft compelling narratives around complex advocacy topics
• Monitor media and assess communications impact for improvement
Requirements:
• Post-secondary degree in communications or related field
• 3-5 years of relevant experience
• Familiarity with legislative processes and advocacy
• Strong editing skills and attention to detail
• Bilingualism (French/English) preferred
