Marketing Coordinator

Salary Range: $50,000.00 To $55,000.00 Annually

Machobear Studios is an established tech start-up based in Vancouver. We are the creators of liv.rent, an all-in-one platform that connects tenants with landlords. In addition to developing and maintaining our platform, we work on a variety of exciting projects for our clients within the real estate and food industries, providing innovative tech and marketing solutions that meet their unique needs.

We are looking to hire a Marketing Coordinator to join our team to work on exciting projects for both liv.rent and our diverse client base which spans across real estate, tech, hospitality and food industries.

What You’ll Be Doing

Own assigned marketing tasks from brief through to completion, tracking deadlines, approvals, and next steps

Build and maintain project workbacks and timelines, proactively flagging risks, blockers, and missing information

Support the planning and execution of marketing campaigns across digital, social, email, content, and other channels

Participate in internal and external marketing meetings and prepare meeting summaries and clear, actionable next steps

Conduct research and synthesize findings into clear, useful takeaways and recommendations

Create presentation decks and document briefs tailored to the audience

Review marketing materials and deliverables for accuracy, completeness, and alignment with the brief

Support event and activation planning and coordination, including timelines, vendors, materials, logistics, and follow-ups

Use AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, and Claude Code to support research, content, and workflow efficiency

Assist with day-to-day coordination between team members, clients, partners, and vendors

Nice To Have

Experience with project management tools (Asana, Click Up, etc.)

Familiarity with design tools (Canva, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite)

Experience with email/CMS platforms (Mailchimp, Klaviyo, etc.)

Comfort reading analytics (Google Analytics, social insights)

What You Bring Us

2-3 years of experience as a marketing coordinator, or similar role

Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Marketing, Business, or a related field

Proficient with AI tools and familiar with their use in marketing

Strong deck-building and brief-writing skills, with an understanding of how to structure information for different audiences

Organized and able to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and priorities at the same time

Strong written and verbal communication skills

A team player who works well with different personalities and departments

Good critical thinker who asks the right questions, spots issues, and recommends solutions

Proactive and takes initiative without always needing direction

Detail-oriented and able to review work for accuracy and completeness

Digital marketing knowledge or experience across social media, email, SEO/GEO, paid marketing, campaigns, events, and blog content
