Proposal Coordinator

Lead the proposal function at CDC, responding to various prospective client requests (EOIs, RFQs, RFPs) to secure projects and drive revenue growth.
Specific Responsibilities     Coordinate proposals from beginning to end, determining deadlines and deliverables to ensure response compliance
Write and edit proposal content, tailoring responses to the specific client and project being pursued
Write and edit standard content used for proposals, including staff resumes, project case studies and other supporting information
Maintain a database of project and client information to be used on future proposals
Coordinate project photography for use in future proposals
Create and update sector-specific brochures and marketing materials
Responding to award applications, when applicable
The Proposal Coordinator also supports the marketing function at CDC, which includes:
Managing CDC's social media accounts (Instagram and Linked In)
Updating CDC's website with new project information, photos and client testimonials
Assistance in updating design of site signage, vehicle wrap and other visual branding, when needed
Requirements     2 - 5 years of proposal experience, within the architecture/engineering/construction industry
Excellent business writing, editing and proofreading abilities
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Indesign) and the Microsoft Office Suite
Legally authorized to work in Canada
Self-motivated, proactive and organized
Additional attributes that would be considered an asset include:
Degree or Diploma in Communications, Marketing, Journalism or similar
Familiarity with digital marketing tools such as Hootsuite, Mail Chimp and Survey Monkey
Experience managing content or communications in a corporate environment
