Drive impactful community engagement initiatives with West Coast LEAF in the role of Community Engagement Manager. This position focuses on building trust across communities and fostering collaboration through a hybrid work model.
WCL seeks an experienced leader to fill this 0.8 FTE role until August 2029. The Manager will facilitate the Family Well-Being Coalition and manage engagement processes that uplift community voices in organizational advocacy. Strong skills in project leadership and collaboration are essential for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the Family Well-Being Coalition planning and facilitation
• Foster accountable relationships with key partners
• Design accessible and effective engagement strategies
• Incorporate community knowledge into advocacy and decision-making
• Manage projects, budgets, and grant reporting
Requirements:
• Proven background in community engagement and advocacy
• Skilled in building trust-based relationships
• Understanding of systemic issues affecting communities
• Strong project planning and management capabilities
• Alignment with WCL’s commitment to intersectional feminism
