Community Power is Kambo’s Indigenous housing and energy division, partnering exclusively with Indigenous Nations to advance community priorities and turn complex needs into practical, funded projects. We bring together assessments, portfolio planning, project design, funding navigation and construction delivery to create a clear path from identified need to completed improvements.

Working alongside Nation leadership, housing teams, residents, funders and delivery partners, we turn housing priorities into defined scopes, realistic budgets, funding strategies and coordinated implementation. Over the last 15 years, Community Power has partnered with more than 70 Indigenous Nations and organizations, completed thousands of assessments, designed hundreds of programs and projects, and supported millions of dollars in housing upgrades and new home construction.

As Community Power’s Community Partnerships & Funding Manager, you will build and strengthen relationships with Indigenous Nations, funders, utilities and partners, understand the goals they are trying to advance, and help move Nation priorities toward funded, implementation-ready projects.

Strong projects can stall because the funding path is unclear, the right people are not connected, or no one owns the next step. Your role is to prevent that. You will connect Nation priorities with the right expertise, funding pathways and project design, then create the momentum needed to move strong projects into implementation for our Nation partners.

You will work alongside an experienced team with deep expertise in Indigenous housing, construction, building science, energy, project design and delivery. You will have strong technical and delivery expertise around you, with a team that approaches complex problems practically and works together to find a way forward. Your role brings the relationship strength, funding knowledge, organization and persistence that helps connect that expertise with Nation goals.

Success in this role is tangible: stronger Nation relationships, funding secured for priority work, projects moving into delivery, and more housing priorities becoming real improvements for Indigenous families and communities across Canada.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with Indigenous Nations, Housing Managers, leadership, staff and community partners.
• Work alongside Nation partners to understand changing goals and priorities, and identify practical ways Community Power can support them.
• Maintain relationships beyond individual projects so trust, knowledge, and momentum carry forward into future priorities and opportunities.

• Build direct, trusted relationships with government, utility and other funding and program representatives to ensure Community Power understands opportunities early and can navigate them effectively.
