Volunteer & Community Engagement Manager

Lead impactful community initiatives as a Volunteer & Community Engagement Manager with a BC nonprofit dedicated to food security. Shape volunteer experiences and create systemic opportunities for community involvement.

In this pivotal role, you will develop and manage a scalable volunteer program, transforming engagement strategies for individuals, schools, and corporate partners. Your focus will encompass building processes and systems that enhance volunteer experiences, including a youth program that links education with community action. This position is both strategic and hands-on, allowing for personal connections with community members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead development of volunteer engagement strategies

• Build processes and infrastructure for volunteer programs

• Coordinate diverse volunteer opportunities

• Manage the volunteer journey from registration to engagement

• Develop training and orientation resources

Requirements:

• Experience in volunteer or community engagement programs

• Strong project management and organizational skills
