Join Peace Health as a compassionate RN Nurse Team Lead in Labor & Delivery for a full-time night position. Lead a dedicated team and enhance patient care effectiveness daily.
As the Team Lead at Peace Health, your role encompasses directing nursing practices and mentoring staff within the Labor & Delivery unit. You will oversee clinical responsibilities, manage shift assignments, and advocate for quality improvement while ensuring that optimal care is delivered. Your commitment to nursing excellence will be pivotal in achieving departmental goals and elevating patient support during labor and delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assign and prioritize nursing tasks for team members
• Direct patient care and adjust staffing as needed
• Supervise clinical practices on the unit
• Implement and evaluate patient care plans thoroughly
• Ensure documentation meets healthcare standards
Requirements:
• Degree from an Accredited School of Nursing is required
• At least 1 year of experience in acute care
• Highly preferred:
Labor and Delivery expertise
• Registration as a Nurse required at hire
• Basic Life Support certification needed
