Overview
Join Peace Health as a full time Assistant Nurse Manager for the Emergency Department, focusing on leadership and clinical service enhancement. Your nursing expertise will help improve patient care quality. In this role, you will be accountable for assisting the Nurse Manager with daily operations, staffing, and orientation of nursing personnel.
With a background in Emergency nursing, you’ll help maintain high care standards and ensure productive department communication and operations. Your ongoing support will be essential in shaping a productive care setting.
Key Responsibilities- Support hiring and staffing for the Emergency Department
- Implement clinical service delivery improvements
- Evaluate staff performance and assist with documentation
- Manage budgeting processes and departmental oversight
- Foster effective communication among team members
- Nursing degree from an accredited institution
- At least 3 years of nursing experience required
- Minimum 3 years in Emergency nursing
- Preferred experience in a supervisory role
- Registered Nurse credentials mandatory
