Work Schedule: 7.5 hours per day/37.5 hours per week. Weekend rotation.

Olive Fertility Centre is a patient-centred care facility which views patient care from the patient’s perspective. This is a position for a Registered Nurse to be a Procedure and/or an in vitro fertilization (IVF) Nurse Coordinator and has demonstrated proficiency in the performance of nursing procedures.
Key Areas of Involvement Include :
- Assisting at embryo transfers.
- Assisting at diagnostic procedures, such as hysteroscopies, biopsies, & sono-hystograms.
- Admission, monitoring, and discharge of patients in the recovery room before and after these procedures
- Circulating.
· Ultrasound.
- Monitoring
- Obstetrical.
- Antral Follicle Count.
- Dispensary.
- COH.
- IVF/ICSI.
- PGT-A.
- Egg Freeze.
- Procedure Room
- Scrub
- Recovery
- Hysteroscopy
- Endometrial Biopsy

Qualifications:
Education, Training and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BN), Nursing Science (BNS), or Science of Nursing (BScN) from an accredited university
- Current registration with the British Columbia College Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM) as Authorized to practice – Current – Practicing RN
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider (current certification, within last year)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Provider (current certification, within last 2 years)
- Safe and Effective Procedural Sedation and Analgesia (SEPSA) certification within last 3 years
- Adequate computer skills. Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint, in particular). Understanding of the internet is necessary.
- Previous experience in a high acuity, emergency, ICU, or perioperative setting is an asset.
- Previous experience in reproductive endocrinology is not required but is preferred however due to the complexities of this nursing specialty. Previous gynaecology, labour and delivery, or sexual health nursing are also preferred experiences for the Nurse in the learning role.
