Perinatal Care Registered Nurse

This part-time role requires direct engagement with patients during prenatal, birth, and postpartum phases. You'll assess needs, develop care strategies, and foster collaborative relationships with healthcare partners. Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct initial patient and unborn baby assessments

• Collaborate with healthcare teams on care planning

• Provide education and support to families on health topics

• Maintain accurate and thorough patient documentation

• Engage in quality improvement and evaluate care delivery
Requirements:

• Graduation from an accredited nursing school

• Active registration with the BCCNM

• At least one year of relevant perinatal nursing experience

• Certification in Basic Rescuer and Neonatal Resuscitation

• Effective communication and teaching abilities
