Neonatal Intensive Care Registered Nurse

This position at Fraser Health requires a commitment to family-centered care and involves critical assessment and intervention for neonates. You will leverage your nursing expertise while working within an interdisciplinary team. Recent neonatal experience is needed to ensure optimal care delivery to patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform detailed nursing assessments for newborns and families
• Document nursing care and collaborate on care planning
• Execute neonatal resuscitation procedures in emergencies
• Promote and practice family-centered approaches to care
• Participate in quality improvement efforts in the NICU
Requirements:
• Current practicing registration with BCCNM
• Minimum of one year experience in a neonatal unit
• Graduate from a recognized Nursing program
• NRP and Basic Rescuer (Level
C) certifications required
• Effective communication and teaching skills
Deliver compassionate nursing care that enhances the lives of newborns and their families within the NICU at Fraser Health.
