At Vancouver Coastal Health, we are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our Coastal Long Term Care Nursing Unit. This role emphasizes ethical practice and efficient healthcare delivery, adhering to standards set by the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives. You'll leverage your expertise to coordinate comprehensive care for older residents with chronic diseases and complex needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing assessments for residents with chronic conditions

• Implement care plans and interventions based on resident goals

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal care

• Support RCA’s and LPN’s in providing resident-centered care

• Maintain ongoing resident evaluations and documentation

Requirements:

• Current registration with BCCNM as RN or RPN

• Experience in long-term care and chronic disease management

• Knowledge of gerontological nursing practices

• Skills in end-of-life care and palliative approaches

• Proficiency in using medical equipment and treating chronic illnesses
