Join Vancouver Coastal Health as a Registered Nurse in Critical Care! This ICU role focuses on providing specialized nursing care to high-risk patients.
VCH invites applications for an experienced Registered Nurse for the Intensive Care Unit. You will be responsible for delivering care to critically ill patients and working in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. Through substantial training opportunities, you will enhance your skills while ensuring quality patient experiences in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide care to clients on life-support equipment
• Work both independently and as part of a team
• Lead efforts to improve clinical outcomes
• Participate in hospital committees and approved research
• Support recovery processes in post-anesthesia care
Requirements:
• Minimum two years recent nursing experience
• BCCNM registered nurse certification needed
• Awareness of ethical nursing practices
• Ability to respond to unpredictable patient situations
• Engagement in continuous professional development
