As the Registered Nurse reporting to the Director of Care, you'll play a vital role in offering direct resident care and administering medication. Your expertise will be crucial in managing patients with complex, changing needs. Age Care values your skills and offers a relocation bonus of up to $10,000 for nurses moving to selected areas.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver nursing care to residents with complex needs
• Administer medications in compliance with regulations
• Conduct ongoing assessments of resident health
• Communicate urgent situations to families effectively
• Coach and guide other nursing staff in care provision
Requirements:
• Current RN registration in British Columbia
• Experience with seniors and unregulated care providers
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills
• Competency in Microsoft Office applications
• Current Vulnerable Position/Sector Screening
