Oncology Nursing Position

Discover meaningful patient interactions as an Oncology RN with Peace Health in a Per Diem role. You're expected to be available for 8 days each month while providing critical nursing support.
In this position, the oncology RN will utilize nursing skills to assess, plan, and execute care strategies tailored to each patient's needs. This role requires a minimum of two years of professional nursing experience, with an emphasis on infusion practices preferred. Collaborating within a dedicated team, you'll play a vital role in promoting a patient-centered care environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess and evaluate patient needs for care
• Ensure accurate documentation of treatments and care plans
• Delegate care responsibilities effectively to team members
• Maintain safety and quality standards across nursing practices
• Participate in the development of hospital regulations and guidelines
Requirements:
• Accredited Degree in Nursing required
• At least two years nursing experience is mandatory
• Basic Life Support certification must be obtained at hire
• Chemotherapy Biotherapy Provider Certification required within six months
• Preferably possess Oncology Certification
