With the Emergency Education Seat Program, you can pursue advanced learning through BCIT, all while working directly in the Emergency Department. Candidates will be immersed in a collaborative and supportive environment, taking on diverse medical cases from neuroscience to mental health.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and manage patient care needs

• Teach patients and families about care plans

• Work with a diverse medical team

• Track and adjust care plans as necessary

• Respond to critical care situations swiftly
Requirements:

• RN registration from BCCNM required

• Preferably 1-2 years of medical/surgical experience

• Excellent verbal and written communicator

• Competency in CPR techniques

• Ability to thrive in an emergency setting
