Make a difference as a Registered Nurse in Palliative Care l’s Hospital, Providence Health Care. Focus on holistic care for patients with life-limiting conditions in a supportive team setting. Providence Health Care is searching for a compassionate Registered Nurse to provide exceptional patient- and family-centered care. This role involves assessing needs, creating individualized care plans, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to enhance the quality of life for patients.
Upholding the standards set by the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives, you’ll support both patients and their families through challenging times.
- Review patient status and care through observations and discussions
- Develop tailored care plans based on assessed needs
- Monitor and document patient progress following established standards
- Facilitate education and health promotion for patients and families
- Participate in quality improvement and training initiatives
- Registered Nurse or Registered Psychiatric Nurse certification
- CPR proficiency and clinical leadership experience
- Skills in teamwork, decision-making, and teaching
- Ongoing commitment to career development in nursing
- Capable of conflict resolution in clinical settings
