As a Registered Nurse reporting to the Director of Care, you will be pivotal in delivering direct care and medication administration.
Your role involves assessing complex care needs and altering care approaches based on changing resident conditions, along with documenting care to meet regulatory standards. Contributing to a supportive nursing team and communicating effectively with residents' families are essential components of this position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide nursing care to residents with complex needs
• Implement complex care interventions as necessary
• Communicate with families regarding urgent care needs
• Assess stable residents and coach nursing staff
• Document care in compliance with regulatory standards
Requirements:
• Active Registered Nurse registration in British Columbia
• Experience with seniors and care providers
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Current Vulnerable Position/Sector Screening
