Join BC Housing as a Housing & Health Nurse in Vancouver, B.C. This role emphasizes assessment and consultative services for applicants with complex social and healthcare needs.
In this full-time position, you will report to the assigned supervisor while delivering critical services to tenants with various needs. The Housing & Health Nurse is responsible for training programs, stress management, and liaising with health authorities and housing groups. Your expertise as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Psychiatric Nurse (RPN) is vital for providing direct service delivery and clinical oversight in BC Housing Programs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide assessment and consultative services for applicants and tenants
• Conduct training programs and manage critical events
• Liaise with regional and community health authorities
• Deliver clinical oversight for Housing and Health Services staff
• Ensure effective communication and collaboration across teams
Requirements:
• Degree in nursing, RN or RPN eligible
• Extensive experience with psychiatric disorders
• Strong knowledge of medical and psychiatric conditions
• Proficient in crisis intervention and consultation
• Valid BC Driver’s License and reliable vehicle
