This in-person nursing role demands a BC Registered Nursing License and offers the opportunity to train medical teams while engaging directly with campers. You will manage medication inventory, communicate health concerns with volunteers, and conduct health screenings during check-in. Your familiarity with medical procedures plays a crucial role in ensuring a secure and enjoyable camping experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Train and supervise the medical team at camp
• Administer first aid and manage medication supply
• Communicate medical issues with volunteers and parents
• Conduct health screenings for campers on arrival
• Participate in emergency response drills and protocols
Requirements:
• BC Registered Nursing License required
• Standard First Aid and CPR-C certification needed
• Experience in pediatric care preferred
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
• Background check for vulnerable sectors necessary
