This permanent position requires a commitment of 0.6-0.8 FTE, translating to 45-60 hours biweekly. You will assess, plan, and implement nursing care, collaborating closely with families and interdisciplinary teams. Your focus will be on delivering comprehensive support in line with the philosophy of Canuck Place Children’s Hospice.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess children and families to identify care needs
• Implement and evaluate individualized care plans
• Provide educational support to children and families
• Maintain accurate patient records and reports
• Participate in quality control and policy development
Requirements:
• Graduate from a recognized nursing program
• Two years of pediatric or palliative nursing experience
• Current BCCNM registration and CPR-C certification
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Physical ability to perform nursing duties
