This casual role will involve assessing, planning, and evaluating nursing care for children with life-threatening illnesses. You will work directly with families, conduct nursing interventions, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality care. Your expertise in pediatric and palliative nursing will be crucial to enhancing the lives of those you serve.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess children and families’ medical and emotional needs
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans
• Educate families about care strategies and policies
• Maintain accurate records of patient observations
• Advocate for children's rights in care settings
Requirements:
• Registered Nurse with BCCNM certification
• Two years experience in pediatric or palliative care
• Current CPR-C and AED certification
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work varied shifts as required
