Join Providence Health Care as an RN in Hemodialysis Vacation Relief in Vancouver, British Columbia. This role focuses on patient assessment, care planning, and team collaboration in office at St Paul's Hospital. As a full-time Registered Nurse, you will work rotating shifts to provide high-quality nursing care to hemodialysis patients.
Your responsibilities will include assessing both physical and psychological patient needs, developing care plans, and incorporating education into patient care. Your expertise will ensure adherence to Providence's mission and commitment to high standards of care.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess patients' physical and psychological needs
- Develop and implement individualized care plans
- Educate patients and families about health conditions
- Refer patients to necessary resources
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals for optimal care
- Current RN registration in Canada and BCCNM eligibility
- Postgraduate program in Nephrology or one year of hemodialysis experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in an interdisciplinary team
- Knowledge of CPR procedures
