Providence Health Care is seeking dedicated RNs and RPNs for its Mental Health program. In this role, you will work in Inpatient Psychiatry and Geriatric Psychiatry, collaborating closely with a diverse healthcare team. This position emphasizes patient education, crisis management, and leading quality improvement initiatives, making a meaningful impact on mental health.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess and evaluate patient care needs thoroughly
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team
• Educate patients and their families on treatment plans
• Provide crisis management during urgent situations
• Lead quality improvement initiatives in nursing practice
Requirements:
• Current registration as a Registered Nurse in British Columbia
• Minimum one year of experience in acute psychiatry
• Solid communication and conflict resolution skills
• Ability to work effectively within a team
• Physically capable of performing nursing duties
