Compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse

Join St. John Hospice as a Licensed Practical Nurse in Vancouver. Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care in a collaborative setting, supporting residents' well-being and health assessments.

As a part-time Licensed Practical Nurse, you will work on rotating day and night shifts to provide high-quality care n Hospice. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, ensuring safe care while having the support of RNs. This role emphasizes autonomy and the ability to perform comprehensive assessments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide compassionate nursing care to patients

• Conduct thorough assessments and report findings

• Communicate with physicians and process orders

• Document treatments and patient progress accurately

• Assist with medication administration and monitor responses

Requirements:

• Graduate from a recognized Practical Nurse program

• Registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses

• Current cardiac life support certification

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to perform CPR procedures effectively
