Age Care is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse for a part-time role, dedicated to providing effective and compassionate care to residents. This position necessitates expertise in dementia care and strong interpersonal skills. You will be integral in communicating with management, families, and residents while ensuring a safe living environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor residents' health conditions regularly
• Provide skilled and compassionate patient care
• Act as a liaison among residents, families, and management
• Participate in interdisciplinary best practice programs
• Empower seniors to live their lives fully
Requirements:
• Minimum one year of experience with seniors
• Completion of an accredited LPN education program
• Active registration with the provincial College of LPNs
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
• Demonstrated excellence in dementia care
