Join Vancouver Coastal Health's Direct Care team as a Registered Nurse or Registered Psychiatric Nurse.

Your role will focus on providing specialized care in a Long Term Care setting. You'll utilize critical thinking and nursing assessments while working alongside an interdisciplinary team to support predominantly older residents and improve their quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing assessments and treatments

• Collaborate with health care providers on resident care

• Coordinate clinical interventions and evaluate resident outcomes

• Support LPNs and RCAs in delivering team-based care

• Participate in designated committees and research projects

Requirements:

• Current RN or RPN registration with BCCNM

• Completion of an approved gerontology course

• Experience with chronic diseases in elderly residents

• Ability to provide end-of-life care approaches

• Knowledge of common medical conditions and nursing interventions
