Deliver exceptional nursing care as an RN in the Post Anaesthetic Care Unit with Providence Health Care. Utilize your critical assessment skills to develop and revise personalized care plans for patients post-surgery.
This position requires collaboration with the Patient Care Manager and other healthcare professionals to ensure all aspects of patient care are met. You'll be responsible for evaluating patient needs, leading group education sessions, and providing guidance to nursing staff. Your expertise in care management and communication will be key to maintaining high standards in patient recovery and education.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct thorough assessments and patient evaluations
• Implement and adjust nursing interventions as necessary
• Organize and conduct educational sessions for patients/families
• Monitor patient conditions and modify care strategies
• Support and direct other nursing and support staff
Requirements:
• Current practicing registration as an RN with BCCNM
• Critical care training or two years' equivalent experience
• Effective communication and teaching abilities
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Capacity to perform physical nursing duties
